To whom it may concern,
My name is Joel Parks and I am the Director of Facility Implementation for OHL. OHL is a third party logistics provider performing warehousing and distribution for companies such as Apple, Starbucks, DSW Shoe Warehouse, Wal-Mart and Target. We were recently awarded the U.S. internet distribution for H&M, which is a clothing company based in Sweden.
We determined that we would run the H&M distribution from one of our facilities located in Plainfield, IN. The construction budget for the project was $1,568,000 and included the construction of offices, a large break room, gang warehouse bathrooms, several remote buildings, dock equipment, lighting upgrades, access control, additional parking, landscaping, etc.
The landlord, Prologis, recommended that we use Brittany Construction for the facility build out. I was a little apprehensive as I had never used Brittany for any of our facility work. I met with the owner, Doug Bennett, and was immediately put at ease. Doug was extremely knowledgeable and all about making sure the OHL was 100% satisfied with the end product. I have been in the construction industry for 27 years and hold my own general contractor’s license and have been involved in numerous projects during that time. This project went as smoothly as any project that I can remember. The major reason for this was that Doug and his team were fully engaged from beginning to end. They were extremely proactive asking all of the right questions before commencing with the work. If they needed clarification along the way, they paused, got the answer and then performed the work expeditiously.
This project actually came in on time and about $4,000 under budget. The main reason for this was that Brittany Construction paid close attention to the details along the way. I would have absolutely no hesitation using Brittany Construction for any of my future projects or recommending them for others to engage for their construction needs.
